Hammond Report October 10 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about one of my favorite gigs in Hamburg, Germany at Auster Bar, big thanks to Nicolai Ditsch for excellent camera shooting! 6 man formation with the great frontline horn players Michael Leuschner trumpet, Lutz Büchner tenor saxophone greatly missed!! Fiete Felsch alto saxophonist long-time from NDR Bigband - Heinz Lichius drums playing with me for at least 20 years, Joe Berger guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ. Many friends in the house this night! Stay safe out there folks, keep masking up in the pandemic and get out and vote - like Glenn Kirschner says, in numbers "too big to rig"!
